FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Starting in 2024 all of our groups will now be meeting at the Shelby Park Boat Launch. Shelby park is in East Nashville around a ten minute Uber/Lyft ride from Broadway or Downtown.

We highly recommend a hat and/or sunglasses as well as a zip-lock bag or dry bag for your phone and personal items if needed to bring along with you on the river.
The Cumberland river is a open commercial water way making the sun very intense in the summer months. Anything valuable should be left in your vehicle or hotel room. You can wear workout attire or a bathing suit. If it’s a bit chilly you can bring a sweatshirt or jacket. Most people do not falloff unless they want to go for a swim. Bring a change of clothing in case you case you get a bit wet.

We have a limited supply of loaner waterproof phone protector cases.

We carefully monitor weather conditions before our paddle sessions. If we suspend a tour or class due to high winds or storms, we will postpone or reschedule. Due to the nature of our tours and the limited number of equipment we will only provide refunds for tours cancelled at least 24 hours in advance on a case by case basis. No shows or late cancellations will not receive a refund.
Yes! We love group tours and offer a 10% discount for groups over 6. Please contact us to book your group outing! Paddling with us is a great activity for bachelor and bachelorette parties, birthdays and company outings.
Absolutely! Ages usually range from 6 up and if a child is under 16 they will need to be accompanied by a parent. Smaller children will need a sized life jacket (we don’t typically carry childrens lifejackets so please let us know in advance). We have 9ft paddle boards and 6ft kayaks that children and young adults can use.
